sometime before the prequels

After carefully considering where, or rather, when you wanted to appear in the Star Wars universe, you decided to drop yourself in at some point before the Prequels begin, several years before.

Of course, this was going to require some thought on the matter, you realize. Thinking on it, you decided you needed an end goal, a purpose of some sort, you could just make the entire Star Wars universe your bitch but where's the fun in that? It was for this reason that, unlike what you imagine a lot of others might do, you decided you didn't want the Star Forge because again, that's taking too much fun out of the experience. You also decided you didn't want to just wave your hand and spawn a species in the billions/trillions to facilitate your bitch-slapping the other factions until they moan and call you master.

As you put more limitations on yourself, you also increase the amount of years between your arrival and the start of The Phantom Menace to allow for more time to build up and such. with this in mind, you think you are ready to make your trip to a galaxy far far away.
