she gets pissed off

"What the..." Amy says angrily. "Crystal, why are you trying to steal my boyfriend?"

"Wait just a minute, Amy," you say. "We had an amazing weekend. And we had sex, yes. But that doesn't make you my girlfriend."

"But I thought you said you had an amazing time with me," Amy says.

"Yes, I did, but we didn't agree to start seeing each other exclusively," you say. "I'm still a free man."

Amy storms out of the house, leaving you and Crystal alone. "Fuck it," you say. "If she's gonna get like that now, how is she going to be if we hook up?"

"I need to be alone, Crystal, do you mind?" you ask her.

"Sure," she says, getting dressed. After she leaves, you hear a knock on the door. Amy's standing there with a bottle of wine in her hand.

"I'm sorry, John," she says. "I guess I wanted to be your woman so bad that I made the assumption that we were together."

"Well, we need to get one thing straight," you say. "If you're going to act so jealous toward me and we're not even a couple, then we won't ever be. I have lots of female friends, so I need to have someone I know I can trust not to get pissed off if I hang out with one of them, whether it's with you or not. Understood?"

"Yeah, I understand," Amy says. "I shouldn't have reacted like I did."

"Maybe we should spend the night apart tonight so we can sort our feelings out," you say.

"Okay, John," Amy says, softly kissing your lips. "Take care." Walking out the door, she blows you a kiss. "Maybe we can hang out tomorrow?"

"Maybe," you say as she closes the door.
