seti background (Assume the role of the daughter of two members of the ruling council)

My name is vanessa 21 years old 5 feet 2 inches 100 pounds b cup breast. I live in seti I am a level 4 student of the college of transfiguration. Everyone recieves a basic 12 year education provided by the government during this they learn basic magic. After graduation there are a number of colleges that offer degree programs programs have 4 levels the first level should take four years levels 2-4 should take 2 years per level. Transfiguration is the study of using magic to manipulate the physical world it has a very wide range of applications.

However all magic is regulated by the council of seven the ruling body of seti. My father and mother are two of the members of the coucil of seven. My father is the foremost expert on Transfiguration. Being his daughter has been both a blessing and a curse while i have been afforded the best education and training. However it has always been expected of me to study transfiguration. My mother is the expert in the magical art of destruction and my twin brother follows in her footsteps once completing level 4 he will join the ranks of the generals of the army of seti. As children all of the children are trained unlike no other children in seti while attending basic school we are trained in much more advanced areas of all types of magic. Because one day my brother and I will marry and assume the positions of our parents as will all other children of the council. Utilizing magic the children of the council mend all genetic defects that result from this policy of ****, **** may be shocking to some but it is entirely legal in seti provided that any children that resuly from the union are born at clinics accredited by the council to be sufficiently proficient in magic to make sure the children do not have any the genetic defects that may be caused by the incestous relationship of their parents. A secret unknown to the public is that the council and its children use magic to boost all of our abilities both physical and mental our apperances are also altered so that we will be physically attractive more so than any other in the kingdom. Although these practices are legal for all of seti the council uses forbbiden magic that is far more potent speciffically the rituals that require human sacrifices and other immoral rituals. This will be the 100th Council When the current children assume their parents current positions when we turn 50 that will be the 10000th year the seti empire has existed. At one hundred I will give birth to twins a boy and a girl who like my brother and I will marry each other when they are 25 and assume my position when they are 50. At 150 I will still be a young adult by our standards most common people live between 100-1000 years not counting those that are killed before their bodies give out. Council members use forbidden magic for immortality and are moved to a secret place that they are only allowed to leave if they follow very strict guidelines that ensure information about these and other activities do not reach the ears of the public.

The things about my life that i hate may surprise you since they are certainly not what you expect. Most people think we hate having to marry someone that was picked for us for most it is hard for them to comprehend. For myself and the other children of the council we look at it as we are the luckiest in the land having met our soulmates at birth and getting to share our entire lives together. I love my brother Devin more than anything and would do anything he needed or wanted. Also at birth a magical link between our parents and sibling are made the link between the parents and children allow communication of words, information, and images at the disscretion of either the parent or child also both may block messages that are stored in a sort of magical limbo and recieved when the block is lowered. Also Those connected will always know the location of the other members of their family. The link between the children is more powerful on a 1000 points. The block is available only when they are in a life threating situation however it is often used as a filter and augmentation since we are trained to fight with our sibling. Though the link is still used as a primary method of communication between my brother and I. The link between the twins also allows us to feel the others emotions, hear their thoughts, view the world through their eyes and we can experience the world as they do. Experiencing the world through their eyes, feeling what they feel both physical and emotional, while hearing their thoughts is the most intimate and difficult thing to explain. The mental links are kept secret from the public for security reasons. Threats of assassinations and attacks are so great the children of the council may not leave castle where we are raised until we have become level 4 masters of our college of magic. But when we marry we all must tour the kingdom so attaining level 4 mastery must be done before we are 25 for the public at large attaining level 4 before 25 has been done 118 non-council children have accomplished this in the last 10000 years. Council children of the last 10 councils on average complete level 4 testing at 22 because of demands being increased to twice of what they used to be. Before the increase council children finished level 4 at 15 but were still mandated to have a 100 soldier security detail until 20. After we marry at 25 we may not go out into the kingdom without our spouse. The link with my parents allows me access to what they know about magic at least what they'll share with me but if were not studying during the time they think we should they will annoy us until we do extreamely irratating. There are 2 other things that I hate about my life the first is that security prevents me from sharing in the lives of my people. The third is that security prevents me from exploring the beauty of the lands of seti even after I am allowed to I will be too busy helping my brother be a good general. The war with Rovaf is to blame for the majority of these problems we all wish it would end maybe my brother and I will be among those that bring this conflict to a close either while my brother is a general or when we take over as the next council. Many years ago at the old castle where the council lived and worked their was an **** attempt that failed to respond the coucil moved the castle. However another security measure created because of the attempt on the lives of the council and their children the entire castle was sealed so that only those with councils permission may enter or leave the castle. Even with The birth of myself and the 5 other children there are still less than 40 people in the entire castle at all times 7 council members, 6 kids, 12 security, and 10 teachers. All of the cooking and cleaning is done by magic as well the castle also repairs itself utilizing magic of its own. All of these details are kept secret from the public another secret is the castle dress code. Since armor and clothing inhibit magic use the people of seti wear very little to cover their bodies since the last attack anyone that is in the castle they may not wear clothing or jewelry only members of the council may wear jewelry or carry trinkets, relics, wands, or staves and for these to be carried the must enhance the powers of the carrier. Since the people of rovaf cannot use magic, refuse to learn, and outlaw it pratice requiring the castle occupants be naked prevents an assassin from carrying any weapons and though they maybe skilled at hand to hand combat someone from ravof wouldn't be able to stand against magic.
