You know the big battle scenes that movies like lord of the rings or 300 have. I was watching that happen before me with roman and Greek troops killing each other with a passion. Red and white clash and blood is shed on both sides however from where I lay I can tell that the Greeks are loosing if by a man-to-man ratio. Getting my ass up in order to not get trampled by the two forces I notice some civilians mostly children and their mothers cowering by some ruined buildings. Running and walking over to them I see some Greek soldiers begin to move towards the group I hurry my pace which would be a full on sprint and somehow position myself between the civilians and the soldiers.

“ Halt stranger who are you and state your business.” Greek #1 says while his buddy leers at the women and young girls. Now I’m not a brave man by any stretch of the imagination with my fight or flight instincts decidedly in the flight option but as a man and well me I have a code of honor when it involves girls/women in general and rule #1 is “ always protect the women with your life” so I stand tall and with a **** of will that I rarely use I announce “ you will not hurt these women and children while I draw breath and trust me when I say that you will be chocking on your own blood when I get through with you!” my announcement has stunned the two Greeks in their path. Seemed like they didn’t expect someone like me…. Ha, I also caught the attention of some nearby roman soldiers who begin to advance towards my position seeing the impending confrontation. The general of both sides also notice my situation and confer with their retinue while I star down the two Greeks.
One of the soldiers shakes himself and readies his spear leering at my unarmed and unarmored body.
