rediscovery of favorite food

"hey Ryu what did the doc have to say," asked a man he had a small stall set up near the hospital and ryu thought we should get some food.

"not much harry," said Ryu. "she had a bad head injury and cant remember her own name. for now we chose to call her Kasumi." he then looked at me and raised his hand. "this guy is harry he can make just about anything you want. but if you want the best then ask for the special."

"oh Ryu careful my ego might just grow to large for this village," harry said.

"Your mother would drag you back," said Ryu.

"yeah she would," he said. "I could be on the other side of the elemental nations and she would still find me and drag me back. anyway what do you want today."

"two daily special please," Ryu said. I just nodded my head Ryu knew the menu better than me and he had been nothing but helpful.

"sure thing. cat got your tongue miss," asked harry.

"that weird seal on her throat keeps her from talking. doc gave her a book on sign language," Ryu explain.

"damn ninja and there magic tricks," said Harry. "world would be better without them. he then turned to start cooking.

"sorry about that harry has a bad history with ninja. a Kumo ninja murdered his father right in front of him. they thought he was selling intel to Konoha. James was innocent and turned out to be the neighbor.

"and they could not even apologize for there mistake," said Harry as he placed bowls of ramen on the counter. "Bastards."

I tilt my held to show I am sorry for his loss and he smiles at me accepting it. I then pull open the chopsticks and look at the bowl of ramen. will I like it or not I don't know. taking a breath i grab a bite and bring it to my mouth. my eyes widen as the best taste in the world touched my tongue. I must have more.

"Wow," said Ryu a minute later. I had eaten my entire bowl and his as well. upon realizing this i look down in shame. "that's okay Kasumi. I guess we can safety say you like ramen."

"really what gave you that clue," said harry cause all three of us to laugh.
