politely refuse

“I’m sorry,” I replied. “That’s not really my thing.”

He looked disappointed, but not surprised.

“That’s quite alright. Not everyone is into it. Well, enjoy your time here.”

He walked off, twirling his little key in his hand.

A couple of minutes later, the vaguely French woman came out of the bathroom. “Were you waiting for me, or the bathroom?” she asked coyly.

“Ummm..the bathroom, but I’d ummm like to know you a bit too.”

She smiled at me. “That’s sweet. Come find me after you’re finished. I’m Amanda.”

As I walked into the now empty bathroom, she turned back to me. “Oh, by the way, there are more toilets in the club, near the showers and the dark room.” Then she walked out of the changing rooms and back into the main complex.

I quickly used the bathroom, and also took the opportunity to freshen up and to use one of the perfumes sitting on the side.

I came out of the room and a guy went in after me. I walked down the yellow corridor, but couldn’t find Amanda. I doubled back and looked down the red corridor. I saw her near the end, talking to a big black guy. Before I could catch up to her, they went into one of the small rooms and closed the door.

Regretting missing my chance, I thought about what to do next.
