My heart sinks. She did not just say what I thought she said.

"... Did you say picture day?" I ask meekly.

"I did. Wow... this is going to be interesting."

I love picture day. Usually. When I'm not naked. I love looking back through yearbooks and seeing how much I've changed throughout the years. I almost want to cry. I can't just get my senior picture taken in the nude!

...But at the same time, I can't skip out on my last school picture.

... But then again.... naked.

I debate internally my choices. Both seem unacceptable to me, but I have to choose!

"Em, are you coming or what?" Allyson asks, annoyed. I must have lost track of what was happening for a minute there as I was lost in thought.

"Allyson... I don't know if I can do it..." I tell her, defeated. It sucks, but I don't know if I can live down a naked yearbook photo.

"Well, that's your choice, but think of it this way: everyone else is going to have a picture, and I think you're gonna regret not having yours taken in a few years down the line. Besides, they'll probably just show your face anyway. Sure, everyone knows you're naked in it but it can't be that bad!" Allyson tries to convince me.

She has a point. But still, going to the gym filled with all of our classmates, naked?
