The group got into the truck coughing, but sped away safely. “Great, you assholes blow it and I get cancer or some crap,” Thunder spat as they drove off.
“Nothing exceptionally threatening, I think,” the doctor corrected. “Baroness is mad, but lethal means are far beyond her, legally and morally.”
“Well, can’t you… science it and find out?” Tex offered in a puzzled voice.
“Not without a better sample. If it did indeed infect us with something, however, I can find out by tomorrow afternoon. It will be interesting to see what experimenting on myself is like for a change.”
“Alright,” Jack sighed. “Don’t like waiting for something like this, but still… great work men! We set some good girls free and made some bad ones pay. Beer’s on me tonight!”

Everyone cheered for one reason or another. “…you can have ONE, Tim,” Jack added. He brightened up even more, with the promise of **** and somebody not calling him Timmy for a change making him feel more grown up.
