north in to the forest

You decide to go into the dark, scary forest.
There are rumors about the forest being cursed by the evil and you heared a lot of stories about dangerous beasts and witches and other nonsenses like these but you didn't care about those at all..
How could a big adventurer like yourself be scared of mere rumors???
The forest is indeed dark and full of shadows from the overgrown trees but there is nothing dangerous here.. (ok, the mosquitoes are irritating but that's it, really).
It starts to get dark when you reach a huge house, it's walls are painted in black, the fence is iron and also died black, the garden is huge full whit died plants. If you wouldn't know better you would think it's cursed just by looking at it.
A plate above the gate reads "The greate mariana".
