The radio is silent, and remains silent for five minutes before Tamara decides to activate a scanner, her ships scans the other ship and Tamara finds there are two bodies of life signs on the ship, likely the crew went into cryo sleep till they could be rescued.

Tamara also detects that the air in the ship is polluted with something that the scan cannot identify.
