"not as much as I did for the gem stone next to me," he said causing her to blush again. "I see a few competitors of our company in the audience who might try to use this to sway Weiss and even marry into the family so they will probably start a bidding war unless one of them jumps the amount up like I did."

"I see," said Ruby. she then took a sip of some water and said, "I get the feeling Weiss is not going to be in a good mood tonight or the day of the date."

"Knowing her that is likely to be the case especially if the person is incompetent," said Whitley.

"Yeah I remember from when we first met not the best first impression, but was not all my fault," Said ruby

"Really what happened," Whitley asked in amusement.

Whitley let out a chuckle hearing that story and even some of the guards had to suppress a snicker when they heard the story. Weiss heard the laughter and turned her head to look at them with narrowed eyes.

Ruby sees this and lets out a small 'eep.' Whitley looks over and sees Weiss glare at them and let out a small smirk. "Don't worry ruby you should know her bark is worse than her bite," He said.

"I know but she also can get really pushy about studying and can getting projects done," said ruby.

"true but I think she is just jealous of your natural intelligence. after all you missed two years of education when you jumped ahead and you are already in the upper middle of your year in your grades no doubt by next you will be one of the top students," Whitley said to her causing her to blush again due to the praise he gave her.

"I don't know about that," said ruby. "Oh looks like some one just won Weiss," she said at the end hearing that the bidding was now over.
