While hypnosis and subconcious manipulation are the only real world versions of mind control, the practical applications are somewhat in doubt. It is very easy to find subliminal self-help tapes and cd's , the kind that are supposed to help you quit smoking and the like, but their effectiveness is in question. I have read many points of view on the subject and no one can seem to agree if it really works or not. My personal theory is that such manipuation would take manyyears to accomplish and it would not actually be "mind control" but more like the way a childs personality is developed as they grow up. The subliminal cd's you listen to just arent effective.
