The other women stared at Becky. She swigged a beer and shrugged. “…what? I’m crazy, remember? ‘Sides, I got something better in mind. We fought together in the old days. Name’s Riot, and she’s real hot shit, but she spent a lot of time with some punk for most of her career. We’ve teamed up now and then, mostly in battle royales, but I’ve seen her fight, and she looks like she’s just naturally good at doubleteaming. Could probably fight with anybody and make it look good.”

“Worth a try,” Miss H admitted. “She’s good from what I’ve seen, and we could use some outright muscle on our side.”

“I just got free of that Thunder dork, and you expect me to be on a team already?” Riot objected. They were in a bar near the arena that was frequented by toughs of all sorts, mostly because of how many of the wrestlers’ brawls led there.

“Think of it as weaning yourself,” Miss H encouraged. “You abandon the biker, move up to some women with class, then you may enter your solo career once we topple this so-called Luv empire.”
