Everyone deserves a little charity every now and then. She is only short two grand in assets to qualify for the loan, and the loan will buy her at least a year and a half. I just happened to have 4.5 grand in bonus when I got promoted, so I will be able to give her to 2 grand, or at least loan it to her.

"I can cover what you're short myself."

Tiffany jumps for form her seat in excitement: "Really... thank you so much..." she pauses and quickly calms down."Now to the hard part, what do you want in return? I said I'll do anything, so just what do you want?"

She steps forward and begins to lift up her dress, but I grab her hand, stopping her.

"No, just promise me you will find a job so this money won't go to waste, and I won't have to come back here."

Tiffany: "I promise... I promise really, thank you."

Tiffany sits down in her chair and places her head in her hands and begins to cry.

"Are you ok?"

Tiffany:" I'm ok; I'm just really happy!"

It is starting to get really awkward, and I am starting to feel out of place, so I say. "Ok, I need to go now."

She just looks up at me and smiles as she shakes her head. I then leave her house and head home two grand poorer but a whole lot happier. That night as I lay in my bed, I am unable to get her off my mind.

The next day I received three text messages.

Hey, I hear what you did for my mother thank you so much. We should meet up so we can discuss how I can ever repay you.

From: Loran

Hey, you seem to be the nicest person I have ever met, and I want to get to know you more, actually a LOT more lol.

From: Tiffany

I really must thank you for what you did; please let me treat you to dinner or something.
