Dr Humpalot plugged a few large wires into the ringposts. "Worked on some upgrades. Don't even need the helmets to affect the lot of you," she informed to whoever would listen. Jack jerked a head towards the ring. “You work out the kinks from last time?” he didn’t remember it fondly.
“All patched up. It’ll feel just as real, but without the direct link of the helmets, there’s no risk of the whole ‘lost souls’ thing.” Jack helped by popping the last wire in for her. "Thank you, Jack, though Freud might have something to say about that particular act of chivalry."
"Freud's a mother fucker," Jack snorted, getting a high laugh out of Heather.

Ashley, Tara, Chaos, and Super Val entered the ring. Heather and Jack exchanged some last words, and the doctor did some last minute adjustments while Jack went to pull a chair up to the announcer's table. Scott raised an eyebrow, while Debbie just looked delighted at his company.

“Sharin’ the best view in the house, if you don’t mind,” Jack said with a smirk to Scott.
“Go right ahead,” Scott said with a shrug. “So what can we expect from this kinda fight?”
“Just about anything. The girls are gonna have to adapt and think fast. Could be on a beach one minute, dojo the next, haunted mansion after that. I gave the doctor a few suggestions on some locations.”
“Like a worldwide vacation and a wrestling match bundled up,” Debbie smiled. “Fun.”
