have a great time catching up with life

She was going to take a few weeks off before returning back out EAST to take her first job. She told me she already had a great Job offer and they told her taking a week or so before she started the job was fine with them. I screamed at her to get her butt out here because we had a ton of catching up to do.

When she hung up the phone, I ran in to tell Larry about Lynn coming to stay with us for a week. He was actually happy for me. He never got to know Lynn that well. She took off for college before I really got super involved with him. In fact, he only remembered her as the girl that dressed up exactly as I did that night. He had danced with her a couple times too, but he told me he loved my dark hair and looks, and Lynn was a cute little redhead.....

Now Lynn was here again and thats how the events started that completely ruined my life.

The next morning was Saturday and once I woke up, Larry told me he was going to go out with his friends fishing then maybe stay the night out on the lake in one of the guy's houseboat. I asked him if he would rather stay with us two girls and really get to know Lynn. I could tell the quick answer to that, he wanted to go do his thing. That was really fine with me, I knewI wanted to spend the entire week with Lynn anyway. I was so happy she was back even though it was only for a week.

That day we had the best time out shopping and fooling around. Twice during the day we tried on some outfits and it was then Lynn easily got my new dress sizes and shoe sizes from me. I didn't really pay any attention to it, but at the last big mall we were at, Lynn disappeared for a while telling me she wanted to get me a thank you gift for allowing her to stay. I tried to tell her she didn't have to, but she insisted.

I saw her come back with two large bags full of stuff. I had to make a comment and asked her if she robbed a store or something. We both cracked up and then Lynn told me she was getting hungry again. It was around 5:00 in the afternoon.

We went to a nice sports bar and we drank wine and munched on snack food for a good 90 minutes. I had put more wine down me today then I usually did in a week. I was feeling no pain and neither was Lynn. I had already told her before we left this morning that my husband was going to fishing and wouldn't be back till sometime tomorrow afternoon.

She didn't really say anything about it except to mention it would be like our old Girl's night sleepover like we used to have. I quickly agreed with her and knew without a doubt we would have a great time catching up with our lives.

When we left the sports bar it was just about 7:00 and we couldn't keep from laughing and giggling. Neither of us had changed a bit. I might have been married and Lynn might now be abusiness woman, but our teenage spirit was still right there in both of us.
