grab the purse

You reach down and grab the purse than throw it into the back seat.

You: “I’m sorry, but this is a no cell phone car”

Megan smiling: “oh ok”

From that point on, the conversation turns back to you.

In thirty minutes you reach her house and walk her to the door.

Megan: “Thank you for dinner. It really helps.”

You: “No problem. I’ll see you in class tomorrow.”

You walk to your car and drive off. Fifteen minutes down the road, you hear her phone go off in the back seat.
