Chapter 3
by ballisticwaffles
Hold on a sec'
...god is going on here?
Too surprised to summon the english language, you wave the gleeful man on. His laughter fades into the distance as you try and figure out how in the name of Saint Michael that truck was running. You turn over multiple ideas, most of them involving aliens or latent mechanical abilities.
But none of those makes any sense. Indeed the only way that the Truck was moving at all was if it was by...
It hits you like a train.
You wished for the rain to stop, then you wished for the dead truck to work.
Rolling the thought around in your head, you dare speak out loud to test your hypothesis.
"I wish I had a bottle of water."
In a sudden blink, your hand is occupied by a cool bottle of water. It is cold and fresh and looks like it just came out of someone's refrigerator. You jolt at the sudden chill on your hand and drop it, the plastic hitting the ground and confirming you aren't crazy after all.
Sudden magnanimous thoughts race through your head. Thousands of opportunities, millions of things you could do. All at the tip of your tongue. It boggles your mind, and with the amount of time you have spent wrestling complex concepts to the ground, this is a strange and unfamiliar sensation for you.
The only question is, What Now?
Quiet Contemplation
Controlled control of the world
A contemplative and altruistic college student is given the reins of the universe.
