go for a drive along the coast

You realize what a lovely sunny day it is. And decide to take out the convertible and drive up the coast. You take along a bottle of wine, some cheese, some fruit, and a blanket.

As you drive along you notice a police cruiser following you. As you look down to see how fast you were going, the cruiser turns on his lights and siren. You pull over thinking he is stopping you, but he continues on past. You breathe a sigh of relief and continue on your way.

After a while, you come to a fork in the road. If you bear right you head up into the mountains. If you bear left, you continue along the coast.
