focus on the next game

You leave her there and don't hear anything about her so you assume she made it home fine. The week flies by and quizzes come and go. Your mind is no where but on the next game, and doing what it takes to stay on the field. This week is another away game. When you get there you see that they packed the stands. Which for a D3 school is impressive, but after the first quarter you quickly see the stands empty as you and your team run up the score. By the end of the game you have successfully beat them 45 to 7.

On the way back to school your coach stands up and addresses the team.

Coach: “well done today. I was told from the cheer coach that there is a get together with the cheer team so they can get to know you all better. Next week is our bye week so they planned it for Saturday. I’m not making it mandatory that you go I just strongly suggest it.”

Jennifer texts you back : “I’m sorry but I am feeling sick”

“Something came up I be there next week with Madison and a surprise to make it up to you.”
