distract the JLA

Lex poured himself a bottle of scotch and toasted to the apparent success of his plan. He had unleashed many of his Legion of Doom associates to distract the other members of the Justice League. Looking at Barbara’s read-out, he knew she would be his soon. The others, being nonhumans, were resisting slightly. He planned on bringing Barbara in soon, and after, maybe he would let her stay at the apartment to ensure Diana and the other girls’ progression happened smoothly.

Diana hadn’t felt this good in years. Her trip to the beauty salon had done wonders for her. Her stylist had shampooed, cut, layered, moussed and teased her hair until it was a huge, thick, shiny raven mane. Once back at the apartment, Diana had spent nearly a half hour admiring herself in the mirror. She had made another appointment for tomorrow to have another tanning session and a massage. A facial would be just heavenly, too!

Now, Diana was lying in bed at the moment, imagining what else could be done to her beautiful body. She ran her tongue over a straw before sipping some more water. Maybe Barbara could take her shopping tomorrow too. She hummed a happy tune, and fell asleep; not worrying about what trouble her fellow heroes may be in. The spiked water was working its way through her system now faster and faster.

Barbara Gordon was listening to her headphones and dancing to the latest pop hit. She saw the Justice League alert light flash, but payed no attention to it. Diana, Donna, and Kara were all getting their beauty sleep, and something as dangerous and messy as fighting crime would just have to wait. She caught sight of herself in her mirror and blew herself a big kiss.
