catching up with the girls

"So, what happened last night you look like crap this morning," said Blake as we all sat together for lunch.

"Yeah, I know you had the seals removed but I don't remember being tired afterwords," said Sara.

"After being let out of isolation i was brought to meet Ms. C," I tell them as I try to enjoy my food.

"Ah and gave you her standard greeting," said Kate. "Anal or pussy?"

"Anal," I said with a scowl. "Then she had me spend the night at the guard barracks."

"Damn what did you do to piss her off," asked Kim.

"Its Ms. C all she would have had to do is sneeze to earn a punishment," said Blake.

"I was not fast enough in showing her respect," I said with a grumble. "you guys said she was bad but man she is a bitch."

"Yeah, it's hard to understand just how bad she is till you experience her," said Sara.

"Well to avoid summoning the bitch did you guys hear the rumor," asked Kate.

the others let out a groan while i looked around confused. "What rumor," I asked.

"right, you have been in isolation,' said Blake. "Sara had overheard a few of the scientist talking about a ghost walking the halls."

"a ghost," I said with a bit of fear in my voice.

"Oh, is the little fox scared of ghost," teased Blake.

"Oh, lay off Blake," said Kim. "And relax foxy. it is either a unsanctioned experiment or the scientist overdosing on caffeine to avoid sleep."

"But I saw it," said Kate.

"Oh, really when did you see it," asked Blake.

"On my way back to my room yesterday. a figure on its own was walking down the hallway. she turned to us, and I swear she looked like Daphne. she then just disappeared," she said.

"Daphne is gone," said Blake. "Most likely it was an experiment."

"On its own," said Kate. "They don't let experiments leave on their own."

"Unless she was trying to escape," I said.

"Only a fool would try," said Blake.

"Yeah, we are all going to die here," said Kim. I frown at this and see the other girls just accepted it as truth. I guess that is why he wanted me to help him and not them. most of them don't have the fight left in them.
