It had all happened so fast.

Jasper turned back in his seat and, realizing the asymmetric skirt of the wedding gown had ridden up to reveal practically all the way up to reveal the white floral garter high on his left leg, quickly corrected the skirtline to grant himself SOME sense of decency.

A wolf-whistle brought a blush to Jasper's face.

"I am glad that you and Miss Jacqueline came to see things my way, my little angel." The man in the seat next to him smiled, one that unnerved him just as much as the one that had gotten him in this mess. Jasper averted his eyes, looking out the window.

The driver turned, headed for a building not far from the church, equally grand and appearing to be of similar architecture. Was THAT where the reception would be?!

Suddenly the man reached out a firm, sturdy hand to Jasper's smooth leg. Jasper froze, his eyes wide.

"Why should a lovely and beautiful rose like yourself have to **** away working day in and day out?" He gently caressed the leg, sending a shiver down Jasper's spine. "From now on, you've got just one job."

Jasper felt the parts of his body relax that he hadn't even realized had tensed up when the man released his leg.

However, the man's voice suddenly was much closer as Jasper realized he had his mouth right next to Jasper's ear.

"...Be beautiful."

The kiss to his neck was sudden but brief, over before he could recompose himself to react.

So much was happening and it was hard to keep up.

The door opened and the man stepped out. The crowd was already starting to rebuild around their car as more and more guests hurried to keep up with the newlyweds.

The man turned and slightly bowed, holding out a hand to help his bride out of the car.

"My dear..." that smile again...
