Sarah had that pensive expresion Tom recognized as her 'just wait, I'm thinking!' signal.

After a couple minutes she nodded. "Yes, I think that's the best way."

"So, what are you thinking? What's the big idea?" Tom prodded, tapping his foot impatiently.

Sarah leaned back. "First, I think this kind of change is exactly the point of having the coin. Minor tweaks to my appearance and such are all well and good, but frankly not very exciting. So I want to spend at least a few days like this."

"okay..." Tom agreed, "I get that. but what about..."

"Wait!" she glared at him. "What did I teach you about interrupting me?" She paused again as if considering what she just said, then shrugged.

She took both his hands and said in a more patient tone "Second, I don't think we should change memories right now. We can't risk screwing with our knowledge of our real lives, and we'll need to know enough about this," she motioned with her head, "to fit in and make things work. Only if things get really bad should we try messing with our memories. Agreed?"

Tom nodded slowly. "Sure, I guess that makes sense."

Sarah went on. "So the problem seems to be the confusion in our feelings for each other - husband & wife vs son & mother. So the answer is to change that dynamic." Her voice was a bit excited now. "Don't you see - what we just tried to do ... or did... let's just make that part of the reality. We can be mother & son and still have an illicit relationship!"

Now Tom could definitely tell Sarah was getting into the idea. The tightness in her body, her noticeable nipples, and the recognizable expression of lust on her face. "So Tom, " she said, "I think this wish would work - 'I wish my mother Sarah has been having a secret torrid, sizzling, perverse affair with me for years.' " She smirked and added "I think that should do away with any lingering discomfort. If anything, I think being your mother will make it all even hotter."
