Abby died when his daughter, Amanda was young and Tom had raised her on his own ever since. Judging by small pictures Amanda had strung in her room, she and Sarah were inseparable. Almost every family vacation picture he could find had Sarah them, and there were signs around the house that she stayed over quite often. Sarah was practically his second child.

Tom started to write up some notes on his new life, in particular whatever facts he could gather about Amanda. He didn't want his 'new' daughter to wonder why he knew nothing about her or their life together. A sudden thought occurred to him just as he started to dot down his conclusions. 'What about Sarah? She doesn't know anything about this life either. Today will be crazy for her!"

He immediately drew the coin from his pocket. He held it in the palm of his hand as he debated on how to best help her. 'I could just wish for her to have all the memories of this Sarah. But there's no telling how that might change her,' he said to himself. After brief consideration he decided on how to word his wish - 'I wish that whenever she needs, Sarah will gain whatever knowledge or skills necessary for her to live her new life, so she can pass as Sarah Marie Donaldson without any problems.'
