"I think the best cover is if you pretend to be a child." Frank said.

"WHAT?!" Shannon blurted.

"Yes, perhaps a friend's kid I'm watching." Frank mused.

"That's insane!" Shannon blurted. "Who the hell would think I'm a child?! I'm 24!"

"Shannon, you have to understand: Here on Urma 7 you just don't look it." Frank said. Shannon realized what he meant. Her body. Her nude body. He was saying that her naked looked like a kid! Shannon had never heard such offensive nonsense! Of course she didn't! Sure, she was a bit short, and had a 'cute' face, but that didn't mean she looked that young! And okay, her breasts were small, but they weren't THAT SMALL!

"Now, for everyone to understand that you're an adult we'll have to explain your an offworlder." Frank explained. That will make everyone suspicious. Now, if they think you're a child, they'll dismiss you. Underestimate you. They'll all let their guards down and you'll be able to get the drop on them! Plus, they'll dismiss any confusion you have about local custom or behavior."

Shannon had to admit, there was some sense to what he said. Plus, she did stick out like a sore thumb. Nearly a foot shorter then everyone around, and by far the palest person she could see. She noticed a great deal of glances her way, amused eyebrows raised. Maybe they could use this to their advantage, despite how embarrassing it could be for her.

"Fine." Shannon finally agreed. "But don't forget the reality of the situation. You're working for me, I'm in charge here, and I still call the shots."

"Of course, it'll all be an act." Frank smiled. "Now, let's go pirate hunting!
