Zenra's the Problem

"Ranma, I wouldn't drink any of that sherry. You don't want to end up like your pop," Nabiki said while glancing at her dad. He was about to protest any comparison before he remembered how easily he got drunk while doing Romeo and Juliet. Of course, he was the girl, then, and sobered up when he got back his own body back. (Almost sober.) Hey! It was Kuno that made her drunk!

"Where is pop?" Ranma said, still frowning.

"I lost him near the canal. I shouldn't worry. Panda's have large bodies; changing would dilute the ****. So, about this obstacle to you marrying into the family," Soun frowned and made a face before he downed the shot.

"Setting aside the obstacle of the curse itself, the immediate problem is that Kuno is into zenra!"

"Zenra?" both guys asked. Ranma being clueless was one thing, but her dad? He was a pupil of Happosai! It had to be a mental block.

"In Kuno's case, it means he gets his kicks seeing girls naked in otherwise normal situations. And not just flashing, but staying naked. In other words: Forget trying to teach him how to develop his own Clothes-space, like your pop and Ryoga have! He's too much of an exhibitionist, like Shampoo," and she leveled an eye, "and Ranma."

"I'm not like that!"

"Whatever you say, Ranma," she says Oh, so semi-sweetly. "Kuno also has the advantage of not thinking he has to pay the consequences of his action. It is his Venus that is naked, not him. And, no, I don't think letting the world know the two are the same person, body and soul, is a sane idea." Ranma had to agree. No telling what would happen if Kuno ever could think of the two of them as one.

"The best course of action is for you to stay home." (Soun didn't like hearing that.)

"I don't have to go to school?!" Ranma smiled. (Nor that.)

"For the showdown with Kuno, you have to go to school. You accepted the challenge." And the Saotome School never turned down any martial arts challenge. "But there is no set date, and tonight I caught Kuno practicing with the body he'll be using. He doesn't think she's really ready to take you on, yet. This gives you the opportunity to train -" she held up her hand as Ranma was about to say he had all the training he needed, "- with Happosai."
