Zelda’s humiliation begins

Ganondorf left her after that, and she was left to stew on his words. ‘Humiliation,’ he was deliberate in saying that. Zelda’s mind flung itself at deciphering just what he meant by that. But every possibility was mortifying to think about. Eventually, exhaustion took her, and she drifted in and out of sleep.

Zelda woke to the sound of her cell door being opened once again. As the door strained against its hinges, she pondered whether or not they were designed to make such noise, it would make escape much harder. She snapped herself out of the thought, as a guard entered the room, Zelda was surprised to see that he was a hylian. Two more hylian guards followed him into the cramped cell, it was then that Zelda realized, they were among those who switched sides rather than die for the kingdom. They were traitors.

“What do you think you’re doing here?” Zelda snapped, her anger boiling over.

The first guard laughed, “The merciful king Ganondorf has asked for your presence.”

Zelda scoffed, “And if I refuse?”

The traitor shrugged, “We’ll just drag you out anyways.”

Zelda breathed through her nose, trying to steady her racing heart. “Very well then, release me from these chains.” After Zelda finished speaking, the guards began to snicker among each other. “What’s going on?” She asked as their laughter continued. “Release me!” She could feel herself getting ****, she was unused to having so little control.

The first guard stopped laughing and held up a hand to quiet the others. “Ganondorf wants us to bring you to him, but he was very specific in saying that your clothes aren’t coming with you.”

Zelda’s felt like there was a stone in her stomach. Did she hear him correctly? Were they going to strip her? The three guards took out their knives and began to walk towards the chained princess.
