Yukari finds a fire escape ladder, but it runs past several windows...

"Class must have started by now." Yukari muttered to herself. "Ms. Toriumi is probably asking if anybody knows where I am. Wonder if she'll send somebody to look for me? Uh... better not to think of that."

While continuing to worry about the situation in her classroom, Yukari finally seemed to catch a break. Hidden away in a corner of the roof, obscured by a bench, was a ladder! Rather than a padlock, there was nothing more than a simple latch keeping the small chain-link gate in front of it closed, and Yukari was easily able to pull it open. Cautiously, the topless girl stuck her head through first and looked down to see just where it led. Unfortunately for Yukari, the ladder was located on the front of the school building, meaning she'd be easily visible to anybody looking in the direction of the school; of course, at this time of day, who would be out and about around here?

In any case, it wasn't as if Yukari had much in the way of a choice. It was either take the ladder or wait on the roof for somebody to inevitably find her in this embarrassing state. Yukari took a moment to brace herself and quickly climbed down onto the ladder, slowing down as the roof disappeared from view. Yukari wasn't thrilled by the fact that she had to let her breasts hang free to properly use the ladder, but at least she was facing a solid wall... at first.

The first scare came when Yukari noticed a slight glare to her left. Turning her head in curiosity, Yukari's heart nearly stopped when she saw an occupied classroom! Thankfully for her, the students were seated away from her, and the teacher was busily writing on the board. Yukari might have been at an awkward angle for anybody in the classroom to notice her, but the fact remained that she -was- visible if anybody happened to look in the right direction. Shutting this scary thought out of her mind, Yukari quickly scampered down. Taking a quick peek down, Yukari was dismayed to notice that the situation was the same for every floor: she'd pass right alongside a window for every level she descended.

"And here I thought things couldn't get any worse." Yukari thought to herself. "What's next?"

It might have been better had Yukari not asked herself that question. As she approached the next window, the room that came into view was all too familiar to her: it was her own classroom! Ms. Toriumi was giving a lecture, and facing in the proper direction to notice Yukari on the ladder! Thankfully, it seemed that the teacher was focused on one of the students, apparently waiting for an answer to a question. Not wanting to risk being seen by this particular room full of people, Yukari hastily picked up the pace.

However, in her panicked haste, Yukari failed to step on a rung properly, knocking one of her shoes off and throwing her off balance! For a brief moment, Yukari's hands left the ladder as her body jolted downwards unexpectedly. With terror setting in, Yukari frantically grabbed at the ladder, praying to get her hands back on. Thankfully, Yukari managed to grab the side of the ladder and halt her descent, less fortunately, however...
