Everything goes black

The fair daughter of a well-known nobleman, you were a woman of sophistication, almost delicate to the core. However, your father always tried to find a suitable man to court you, but things never turned out well, as you found most of them to be rather unappealing.

One day, however, spelt destiny for you. Upon running into a man sporting an eye-patch over one eye, you noticed he was in the midst of upgrading his scimitar, so that it could be far more powerful than it was before.

When you introduced yourself to him, he did the same, his name being Xiahou Dun, and asked as to why he caught your eye. You told him that your father has known about him, Cao Cao, and most of the other soldiers in Wei.

He clearly understood what you said, and then cleared his throat. You asked if he was okay, and he said that while he had his share of women, he never had any romantic interest in them, hence his aloof demeanor towards you.

Eventually, you would choose to visit him every once in a while, developing a friendship as time passed. And every day, his younger brother Xiahou Yuan would often tease him about his relationship with you, but the older one claimed it was 'none of his business'.

Regardless, you got along quite well with Dun, as well as his brother and their associates. It wasn't until one night, you heard a knock on the door.

When you answered it, he stood there, possessing a rather serious look. "John...it seems I've been considering something very important...something about me and you."

"Yes?" you asked.

Dun took a deep breath, before taking hold of one of your hands. "I know we have been friends for a rather long time, but now I feel as if we must go further."

You gasped, and it looked like you didn't know what to say. However, you smiled and replied, "I had been thinking about it, too, Dun. I have never found a man this trusting and so kind."

"And to think...I was able to fully defrost before you." he added.

You nodded, before he took you in his arms, and placed a soft kiss on the lips. Deepening the kiss a bit, you escorted him to your bedroom, where he placed you on the bed.
