Your route accidentally takes you by the club he mentioned

You don't hear the guy talk for a second and you sigh. Maybe he walked off while you had ignored him?

A sudden hand around your waist shattered that thought as he pulled you to his side and turned.

"Whoops, we almost missed it!"

His sudden move had caught you off guard, so when he pulled you to the door, you could only stumble after him.

The first thing you felt was the music, base sending a little tremor through you.

You get overwhelmed by the atmosphere of the club and forget you're trying to escape.

The boy guides you along and out of sight of the door.

"-or we could go to the bar for a drink. I usually dance first, you know, while I'm still sober-" you realize he has been talking this whole time and it has barely processed for you.

"Whoa whoa." a girl with dark makeup and a badge denoting her as part of the club staff suddenly cuts off you and the boy.

"Aw, hey what's the problem?" he asks.

"Your girl's feet that's what." she responded, irritated. You look down, sure enough, your sneakers were still wet and had left a trail of water in from outside.

"Come on, she can stay but she'll need to borrow a pair of shoes."

You are pulled away to the side and the girl sits you down at an empty table. "People leave their shoes behind all the time. Should be something in your size..." the girl rummaged through behind the counter and pullled out a pair of black high heels with crisscrossing straps.

You try to get up, or at the least insist on just leaving, but the girl hushes you and before you know it, the heels are on your feet.

"Ok, all set. You look better in them anyways so just keep 'em. Not like anyone ever comes back for them, anyways..."

You stand, feeling a bit wobbly. The boy is eager to hold you to steady your balance. You quickly adapt to the change luckily and step away from him as quick as you could.

His eyes give you a once over.

"Mmm...those are hot." he smiles at you. "A perfect match for the rest of you." he adds with a wink.
