Your office

You step back out of his office, paranoid that what you just did will be written all over your face, or maybe more accurately, your clothes! However, Sandra simply gets to her feet and moves to the doorway leading back into the corridor.

“This way then Dani, let’s show you where you will be working”, her soft voice and smile putting you at ease and convincing you that she surely can’t have heard a thing. With one last look back at your new boss, who has already resumed his work behind his desk, your brain still trying to take in what just happened, you quickly follow behind Sandra as she wanders down the corridor deeper into the building.

“So, looking forward to your time here, and more importantly, did you get properly welcomed?” she asks as you finally catch her up and step beside her. You study her properly now, still trying to judge if she has any idea what just went on in the office.

“I’m really looking forward to working here, yes” you reply with genuine enthusiasm, which has only been increased by your interesting welcome, not that you mention that last part to Sandra.

“Right, this is where you will be working anyway” Sandra lets you know as she opens a door, gesturing for you to enter ahead of her. Accepting her invitation, you step through the opened door into what is to become your new office.
