You watch from the sidelines.

You could only look on as Luca and Joel stood across from each other in the small cage, ready to go at it. The crowd around you in the bar was once yelling and cheering loudly in anticipation of the encounter, but you were more nervous for Luca's sake. However, you couldn't deny the pleasent company you were currently keeping, being sandwhiched between Joel's dates, the sexy houndoom and fraxure on either side of you.

A bell rang somewhere behind the crowd of cheering pokemon causing Luca and Joel to leap into action. Luca charged in fast, but Joel came on so much faster. Appearing only as a yellow blur, the jolteon darted to the side and then back in, driving an elbow into Luca's side. She grimaced in pain but gave no other indication that she had been hit, lashing out at her attacker with a swift kick. Joel was the faster though as he nimbly leapt back.

"Gonna have to be quicker than that to tag me Lu." Joel taunted, bouncing eagerly on the balls of his feet.

"Thanks for the advice." Luca said, leaping forward, her fist leading her ****. The jolteon blurred into motion again, leaping up and over Luca before coming down behind her, ready to strike. Luca was a crafty one though. She was already spinning as Joel flew over her head, and as he landed behind Luca, she shot out a leg, connecting with his abdomen.

Joel staggered back, his breath stolen by the **** of the blow. "Nice one." He grunted.

Luca gave him no answer, instead rushing in to keep the speedy pokemon on the defensive. Joel was ready however, and dodged to the side before unleashing a blast of electric energy that stunned Luca.

"Luca!" You shouted, but you doubted she could hear you over the sound of the crowd cheering. Joel was rushing back in, his body crackling with arcs of electricity and he dipped his shoulder forward, preparing for a powerful charge.

"Don't count her out just yet." Dana said though, pointing to Luca's hand. You looked to where the houndoom was indicating and indeed a blue light shown dimly from Luca's hand. It grew in intensity as Joel charged in, and at the last second Luca broke free from her paralysis and turned to face her opponent. She stretched forth her hand a let loose a now mighty ball of azure energy.

Unable to stop his wild charge, Joel slammed straight into the orb, which exploded in a flash of light. The jolteon soared through the air and crashed down on to his back. Luca was on him in an instant, straddling his waist and with a fist pulled back.

"Yield." Luca said, staring grimly at the jolteon beneath her.

"I yield." Joel grunted loudly, still feeling the effects of Luca's powerful attack. The lucario grinned and stood, offering a hand to pull Joel to his feet. He accepted, and soon the two were standing in the arena together, with Luca victorious over her opponent. The crowd erupted in excitement, with only a few groans audible from unfortunate gamblers.

"Looks like its your lucky night." Dana said to you, her voice betraying her eagerness. "Guess you and I get to roll around a bit now."
