You think Vaarvel is the sleeper agent!

Your interactions with the girls had led you to a distinct, albeit early, suspicion that Vaarel had to be the enemy agent. It wasn't just that she was the shadiest looking agent... although she was, given that she was always wearing a smirk behind that persistent mask. You'd seen the way she seemed to have an issue with authority. She'd undermined your position as handler on more than one occasion... was it so far a leap to suspect she had it out for all her handlers? Beyond that, though, you guessed that a woman that shrouded in mystery had something to hide.

"Yeeeah, she rubs me the wrong way! I'm supposed to be her boss, right?! I never get any respect!" Goodbye fumed, raising her fists above her head like you two were suddenly gossiping about coworkers who get on your nerves, rather than conducting an official meeting. She lowered her hands and adjusted her glasses, then leaned forward. "But, ahem, why do you say so, specifically?"

You let Goodbye know everything you could think of... {if Vaarvel's Ally Files = 1} For starters, how about those files she kept on all of her allies? If you looked at them one way, that was just an abundance of caution and maybe she had a duty to be suspicious of her allies, just like you did. On the other hand, what if those files were passed on to enemy organizations? The Goodbye Girls could be blackmailed or brought to their knees by the info she may have collected in there. This wasn't a harmless hobby of hers...{endif}{if Vaarvel's Kink > 999}

Talking about her suspicious behavior, she lied to you like it was going out of style. You could barely trust a thing she said... you remembered back to how she'd thrown a million different misleading answers when you'd asked her for kinks. That was just one small example of her habitual tendency toward spreading falsehoods. How were you suppose to trust someone like that?!{endif}{if Vaarvel Encounter > 999}

The story was a bit awkward to share, but you had to let Goodbye know about what you'd seen Vaarvel doing, posing as an agent's wife to trick him into fucking her. That was deliberate jeapordization of that agent's social life, at the very least... She couldn't get away with doing things like that to her own allies, right? Goodbye's jaw hung open, as though she'd never suspected Vaarvel would do something like that. "W-Wait! I've heard she's gone disguised as me before! You don't think other agents thought they were having blindfolded sex with me, do you?!" ... You couldn't rule out that possibility, but you shook your head just to calm her down. {endif}{if Vaarvel's History = 1} Finally, there was the matter of what Dr. Goldstein had told you. There was, of course, a chance that what she'd given you was some nutty conspiracy theory, but it seemed to fit right in with Vaarvel's mysterious nature: a scientist disappearing as the sole survivor from an Adder raid on CEDIT's South African base, only to re-emerge later and become one of CEDIT's top agents. What if Adder had gotten to her? What if she'd even been behind the attack? It was hard to imagine her surviving that attack unless Adder had some reason to spare her...{endif}

"Well, you've definitely helped shine some light on the mystery that is Vaarvel. She's always been a tough one to study... You're doing an admirable job, considering." Goodbye praised your work as she took notes on her pad. You wondered if she really understood how nervous the disguise artist really made you...
