You tell her about the ring

You don't know exactly why, but you want to tell Margaux about the ring. At least, it will be good to talk about them to someone other than Amy.

Having made your decision, you pocket your ring and go to Margaux's room. You knock on the door, and she soon opens it.

"Oh, hi Jason."

"Margaux, I have to show you something. Are you alone? Can we talk in your room."

She is a bit puzzled. "Sure, come in." she says. "My roommate is with her boyfriend, she won't be back until tomorrow morning."

You enter the room.

"So, what did you want to show me?"

You take the ring out of your pocket and give it to her. "Tell me, do you there's anything weird about this ring?" you ask her.

She examines it closely. "Well, it looks like a normal ring to me. Ah, wait, there's something written inside of it."

"Yes, it says: Change is the key to excitement."

She looks up at you."You searched it on Google, didn't you?"

"Yes." you admit.

"I thought so." she says with a smirk, and she returns the ring to you. "So, why did you want me to see it?"

"Because there is something weird about this ring, and I'm going to show it to you."

You put the ring on and sit on Margaux's bed. After a few seconds, you feel the transformation begin. You close your eyes and wait for it to end. The pain is still much; it takes all of your self control not to scream. After a few minutes, you feel the pain subsiding. You open your eyes again: Margaux is staring at you like she has seen a ghost.
