You realize that you've fallen for her

You know that the smile wasn't something special but to you, it was the most beautiful smile you've ever seen. In your head, you realize that you're developing a crush on your teacher who's also your stepmother, something to be avoided at all costs. However, it's not something that you can tell your heart to stop.

"Kira-kun?"

"Ah, yes. Thank you," you say as you sit down.

Rumi sets the food tray in front of you and then sits in front of you. "Your father told me that you like rice in the morning, instead of the normal toasts,"

"Yes, I like to have rice for breakfast," you say as you quickly take the bowl and raise it to the mouth level. You use the chopsticks to push the rice in the bowl into your mouth and then use the same chopstick to pick a bit of fish to eat along with the rice. While the action made it looks like you're eating with much gusto, it also served to distract you from having to meet her face.

"So do I," she says, while propping up her chin with a palm. "I'm glad you like it,"

"Where's dad?" you ask in a clear attempt to shift the attention away. "It's Saturday today, right?" you say. Even if it's the weekend, your father rarely sleeps in, even after marrying Rumi and screwing her almost every night.

"He suddenly received a call last night, and have to leave immediately to America,"

You mentally cringe at the sudden image that he was in the middle of fucking Rumi when the phone call came earlier than the two of them came. That kind of fate you wouldn't wish on Takeshi, and that classmate is a certified asshole. Then it dawns on you about the second part of the statement. "Wait, he's in America?"

"Yes, for two weeks. There's an emergency, and they sent a car to bring him to the airport. He barely packed enough clothes but according to his personal assistant, they will prepare accordingly, and they will be ready for him by the time he arrives to New York,"

"Wow, some emergency, huh?"

Wait, does that means you will be alone with Rumi for two weeks in the middle of school vacation?
