You quickly greet everyone else

Knowing that you have a lot of work to do, you decide to make the greetings with everyone else brief. You spot Kayla and Miranda standing at the water cooler, gossiping about people they knew. Kayla was a leggy redhead that you had known since college. She was one of Katherine's best friends since they were children. After learning that Kayla was a business major like you, you both relied on each other heavily to make it through your classes. You can't remember how many annoyed looks Katherine gave you when you were out on a date and Kayla was texting you for answers on the homework.

Miranda was a chubby blonde girl, although you would probably use the term, 'buxom.' Despite her weight, she had a beautiful face, meaning she was quite attractive. You walked over to the two girls and greeted them. You took a few minutes to catch up with them and talk about your honeymoon. You greet him anyways and he simply mumbles in response, not even looking up from his work.

The next person you greet is Dave. Like Stephanie, Dave was a college intern. He was the stereotypical nerdy kid. He was a very awkward guy, and he often sought your help on how to pickup women, which was something you were never really good at. You did the best you could to teach him, but you didn't expect him to get very far with anyone.

Moving on, you greet Lily. Lily was a married mother in her early 40s. Despite having a twin 18 year old daughters, Lily was in incredible shape. Her husband was a very lucky man. You had often confided in Lily before your wedding, whenever you were having doubts about getting married. She always knew what to say to put you at ease and dismiss your fears, and you were incredibly grateful for her help.

The final two people you greet are Michelle and George. They were high school sweethearts that were still a couple now. Despite being only a few years younger than you, they acted like horny teenagers. You just walked in on them making out with each other in the cubicle. You offer a quick hello, and leave them to each other. You walk to your desk and take a seat, eager to tackle the mountain of work waiting for you.
