You play it slow

"So this is where all the magic happens, huh Maren?" you tease her as she welcomes you aboard her bus, the connection you seemed to have with her continuing to grow.

'"In a musical sense, yes," she laughs as she playfully slugs your shoulder, putting you even more at ease around her.

"So, what's it like being an up-and-coming country star?" you ask her, trying to keep the conversation going in a way that would keep both of you at ease.

"I don't know John. What's it like being alone with one on her bus right now?" she teases you, taking your hand and placing it on her thigh, almost like it was an open invitation for you to go further with her.

"Feels pretty good right now..." you whisper to her as you lean into her, your lips about to touch when Maren playfully pushes you away.

"Not so fast John. Let me sing you a few things first to get us in the mood," she tells you as she gets up and grabs your guitar, leaving you to try and get control of your emotions as she sits back down and starts giving you a private concert.
