You love the new job and it loves you back

The first few weeks at Labor and Delivery are much as Julie described -- long shifts, often running late in order to take care of a mother whose labor was running long or who ran into difficulties -- with more stopping and starting than the ward routine you're used to. But you're seeing Julie almost every day, and each time your eyes meet, you feel the electric tingle of desire.
