You leave her forgetting you and going to leave the state

(This is probably the last chapter I will write in this story, if you would like to add to it anywhere in the story feel free to. Thanks to everyone that read it, I hope you like my first story. Also to all of you that have been commenting I have read all of them and thanks for your input.)

Alex stops convulsing on the floor and begins to look at all of you as you surround her looking down really debating what to do.

“Ok everyone let’s talk about wording” You begin “It could backfire like those genies in stories if we mess this up so i say let’s make it short and simple. Like… You must forget everything about Josh and any powers he has. He was an unremarkable friend you made in college but you didn’t really stay friends, you’ve been feeling lonely in this town so you are going to look for jobs in other states and rarely come back, you just don’t like the feeling in this area any more. Is that any good” you finish nervously.

“I actually think that’s pretty much perfect but i would like to add me to that as well. It would be like ‘Josh and Dylan were unremarkable friends you made in college yadda yadda yadda you know.” Dylan adds.

“Yeah it sounds pretty good” your mom chimes in.

Katherine speaks up “should we even allow her to come back at all. I feel like she should never come back”.

“I thought about that” you say “but i think her family lives her so i don’t want to hurt her and her family like that”.

At this Katherine nods “ok… i guess that makes sense”.

You look to Alex realizing this is probably for the last time and you say “Alex, you must forget everything about Josh and Dylan and any powers they have. They were unremarkable friends you made in college but you didn’t really stay friends, you’ve been feeling lonely in this town so you are going to look for jobs in other states and rarely come back if ever, you just don’t like the feeling in this area any more. You will fall asleep for the next 3 hours and disregard any reference to any of us Katherine Dylan, Josh, or his mom that you find as a weird fluke and any person that mentions us to you, you’ll just say you don’t wanna talk about it and avoid talking about us”. You add that last part as you say it going slow hoping to not say anything that might hurt you later.

As you look down Alex is asleep so you lift her up and carry her into her bedroom. You lie her on the bed and give her cheek a little kiss goodbye. You all exit the house for the last time.

“Well I’m glad that’s over” Dylan says as he hugs you and kisses your cheek. “I’m so excited to start going out with you officially”.
