You just can‘t let her do this

You look speechlessly into her eyes. You can’t believe, that she is giving you this kind of ultimatum. You even feel tears filling your eyes as you take in her decided look.

„So. If that’s, what you want, you should do it. I can’t and won’t keep you from it, but I won’t endorse you doing it either.“

Danielle looks into your teary eyes, as the realisation hits her, that she has hurt you badly. You can see her decidedness crumble in her face, as she is struggling to stick to her point, when she sees, how much it hurts you. Soon a tear is rolling down her cheek, too.

“Why can’t you understand me? He is going to do something, that might just save my life, and you don’t value that enough to just swallow your god damn pride? Do you even care whether he does it? Do you even care whether he saves my life?”

Danielle accusing you of not valuing her life somehow hurts even more, then her decision to blow another guy.

“If you don’t think I do, what’s even the point of us two being together? I love you, Danielle. I don’t value anything higher than you, but if you don’t think so, I should leave”

With that said, you turn your tearful face to the door and move to go. As you open the door, you hear Danielle shouting after you:
