You head back home

Once you get back home you drink a glass of water, before sending Adela a text.

'hey just got home, u ok?'

As you await a reply, you receive a call from the person you want answers from.

"Hey Adela." You say.

"Hey Oscar." She says with a sigh.

"You okay babe?"

"Yeah. The text probably seemed a little more dramatic. Sorry about that."

"It's cool."

There's a lull in the conversation, which you decide to break.

"So how did they find out?"

"I don't know, but, they weren't that upset." Adela lets out a slight chuckle. "Dad even said he met Mom when she was working as a go-go dancer."

Part of you wants to quip about how all of her family's secrets were coming to light, but you decide against it. "Heh."

"So yeah. That's about it really."

"Well, good to hear things went over smoothly."

"Yeah. So how was your day?"

"Eh, alright I guess."

"Sorry for disturbing your night out."

"Oh don't sweat it. They'll only rib me about being whipped for a week or so."

To your relief, Adela gives your joke a chuckle. "If only they knew, huh?"

"Yeah. Hey you had any more thoughts about that dom?"

"Not really. Not after tonight."

"Oh yeah... My bad."

"It's okay. Anyway, I should be free tomorrow. Maybe you can come over and discuss it then."

"Sounds like a plan."

"Cool. See you then Oscar."

"See you babe. Love you."

"Love you too."
