You go get your brother

It takes some time working out the legal side of the situation, but after a few weeks you finally have to go ahead to pick up your brother and take him home. So far all you know about him is that his name is Johnathan Drake Halpas and that it was your father who carried him. You've also seen a few pictures and you can see pieces of your family that stick out as clear as day in his face. You also notice things he got from his other father, but no one knows who that is.

You go to get him by yourself, as Robert is a bit busy and Nico has to watch the boys. Honestly, you're a bit relieved about it. It gives you some time to bond with John all by yourself before everyone else gets involved.

You are **** to wait in the living room while one of the caretakers goes to gather your brother. It's **** to wait, but it's worth it when he puts him in your arms.

It's different seeing him in real life compared to pictures. It reminds you when you held your sons for the first time, how it had amazed you how tiny blurs on a screen had turned into babies you could hold. And now you get a brother, one you thought you would never have. You make a promise to love and protect him just like your own and you know it'll work out when he smiles at you.

You finish up some more paper work before you head home with the new addition to your family in your arms.
