You get home safely

Just as the bus pulls up, the noise stops (drowned out by the bus). The bus driver, an older man, looks you up and down and smiles. You were so freaked out by your earlier predicament, you smile back, thankful of his presence. You get on, pay your fare and take a seat near the back. There are no other passengers.

You make your way home without incident.

The next day, you call bob first thing in the morning to tell him your on your way. You forgot to ask about whether the game was going to continue or not, but you might as well have that discussion in person.

You put a change of clothes in a bag (choosing to get there as a guy) and you make your way to bob's place.
