You get a visit from your former maid

You sit down at the wall and try to get some rest. It was a long and hard day. And you must a way to deal with the shame you brought over your family. Your father trusted you and put you in charge of the castle and in barely 24 hours you let it fall in enemies hands. Half your army is dead and you didn't even managed to flee so you could fight back. You are a leader in chains. A symbol of defeat.

You didn't remember when you fall asleep, but suddenly you are woken up by a soft touch on your shoulder. Your open your eyes and see Mia kneeling in front of you. At first you think all that happened was just a dream but then you remembered the attack and her treason. Quicker than you thought you had your hand around her neck. Mia tries to pull your hand off but even weaken from yesterday you are much stronger then her. You **** her angry and don't mind any punishment the witch would do to you.

“Master, please listen to me!” Mia squeezes the words out even though she can't breathe, “I didn't want this. I beg you, let me explain!”

You see the tears in her eyes and soften your grip. But you keep holding her neck. Mia is not really hurt by you but she is very sad. And she looks like she hadn't slept the last few days.

“This all is terrible,” Mia sobs, “it's all my fault. But I swear that I didn't wanted this. Nobody should get hurt.”

“Well, we have hurt people and dead people,” you reply angry “not to mention enslaved people and a fucking witch siting on my fathers throne. What the hell was going on in your fucking mind?”

“I knew about your father journey since a few weeks,” Mia admits, “but I really thought he would let your brother take care of the castle. One day I was in the forest nearby collecting mushrooms when I was caught by a scout of the dark horde. I never thought they were this close to the town already. The scout captured me, tied me up and carried me to the witch And I had to tell her everything. But instead of giving me to her orcs as a new toy she offered me to let me live in a good position if I help her to lure the ruler of the castle in a trap. But I would have never agreed to it if I knew it was you.”

“So you wanted to see my brother in this cell?” you ask and increase the pressure on her neck again, “Do you thought this makes it better?”

“He is a pig,” Mia answers under tears, “you were always good to me. And your father treated me like any servant. But your brother was a coward, sexist, racist pig. He groped my ass every time he saw me working alone and whispered in my ear that half elves like me are only supposed to be pets for nobles like him. And he made clear the only position for me when he would be count would be as his personal whore. Otherwise he would offer me as a gift to a group of racists in the slums he has gambling bets with. I … I hoped he would surrender as soon as he would see the dark hordes. Nobody would be killed and the witch would **** him instead of you. And maybe she would have made you as a reward for my services. I swear that I would have taken good care of you.”

In the whole confession about her treason the last sentence is the most surprising. You can't exactly say if Mia just admitted to have a crush on you or if she just wanted to be friendly. However now that you know her story you have to decide what to do with it.
