Chapter 7 by tommyd79 tommyd79

What's going on?

You find that you are all alone.

“Nancy… Angelica…” you yell into the darkness getting no response.

“NANCY! ANGELICA! WHERE ARE YOU?!” You scream fumbling around the room with outstretched arms.

Bright flashes of light illuminate the room temporarily blinding you before everything goes black again.

“…hello…” you whisper.

Again the lights blaze intensely causing your eyes to water.

“…PLEASE STOP…” you cry out, falling to the ground.

JohnJohn, if you can hear me, please, please help me!!!” A voice you recognize as Nancy’s screeches over the speakers.

“NANCY! NANCY, WHERE ARE YOU?”

“PLEASE John! I’m in the…” Nancy’s voice is cut short by what sounded like a hard slap.

“YOU DUMB BITCH!!! NOW WE’LL HAVE TO KILL HIM TOO!” A feminine voices hisses.

“YOU LEAVE MISS DREW ALONE YOU FUCKING BITCH OR I’LL…” you are cut short as earsplitting scary music blares through the speakers.

The music sends chills down your spine as loud screams and quiet whimpering orchestrate a symphony of absolute terror. The lights flicker to life again, as the strobes pierce the sky in an elucidated display of livid fireworks. You fight the urge to vomit as you make your way down the hall back toward the front door. You turn the knob to the door and find that it’s locked.

BANG BANG

“HEY! LET ME THE HELL OUT OF HERE!” You scream as you pound on the door.

When no one responds after a few minutes you decide you had better search the house alone, or you may never see Nancy again or perhaps even Mrs. Kamp.

What did they mean by having to kill you too? Had they killed Mrs. Kamp and were they about to kill Nancy. The decision to exit the house through the front door and ask for help had already cost you several minutes. Interviewing Nancy Drew the teen detective was turning into quite a chore. Never did you think you would have to be the one searching for a sleuth. This was definitely not up your alley but now you were left little choice. There were three floors to the house, and probably a basement. You remember that this Victorian had a balcony on the third level.

Where should you search first?

Which floor do you want to check first?
