You fall even more for him!

When the shock of having someone approach him fades away, the boy smiles at you. That smile alone was enough to make your knees shake. His voice sends a spark to a place you hadn't even known existed before. "Hello, can I help you?" he asks, smile still there.

You stutter and stumble over your words before getting out, "You're cute!" Immediately you slap your hands over your mouth and his friends start to laugh. A blush covers your face and you make to retreat to your table, but the boy grabs your wrist. You struggle to hold back the panic as he looks you over.

"You're not too bad looking yourself." he says, smile returning to his face, "Mind if I ask for your name beautiful?"

Again, your nerves get the best of you and it takes you a moment to answer. He waits though and it calms you. "Damien." you say softly, "I'm Damien McCallen."

He grins widely at you. "Damien. I like it. I'm Jack Wilder. How about we meet up again tomorrow, when your nerves aren't so shot? Maybe in the common room at three?"

You nod again, mentally berating yourself for being such a baby about the entire thing, and rush back to your table. They immediately start peppering you with questions, which you answer only after you catch your breath. Once satisfied with what you told them, they make you eat and then send you to bed, where you lie excited for tomorrow.
