You drop off Ben to pick up his truck

You return from a tinkle and a quick wash-up of your lady parts to find Ben asleep. You move his clothes from the washer to the dryer, then tiptoe back to the bedroom. You spoon in behind the young man and settle in for a nap.

After sweet dreams of redheaded angels, you wake and check the clock. Time for a proper shower and to get dressed in case you need to take a fill-in shift at the diner. You wonder if you should wake Ben, but he looks so sweet asleep in your bed that you decide to leave him be. Up to him in case he needs to do some 'splaining of why he's sweaty and stinks of boy and girl juice. You grin at the sleeping young man. "God loves love," you whisper.

You hum to yourself in the shower, some of your favorite songs about God and grace and love and angels.

"Rise and shine, sleepyhead, time to go pick up your truck," you tell him, running your fingertips through his red hair.

"Wha..ah? Oh." He turns his head and gives you a wide-eyed look. "We did it?"

"Twice," you say. Titty side and ass side, like your husband sometimes says. "We went to Heaven together. But now we need to go pick up your truck."

"Oh," he says.

"All clean and fresh," you say, handing him his clothes. They're warm from the dryer and sweet from the softener.

Once you get him poured into the passenger seat, it's his turn to be chatty. As you wind your way back into town on the county road, he asks you all sorts of things about men and women in the bedroom, and you do your best to give him good advice, from simple things like it's good for men and women to take a piss afterward, to how to kiss a woman down there, to what love and faith and commitment mean to you and Brian.

"You're going to tell him all about me?" Ben says.

"Of course, hon, that's our agreement," you say. "Any guests in our marriage bed. Anyone joining him or me to testify in the flesh. Now now, no worries, only good things to say."

He blushes. "All right, I guess," he says.

"Better to build your life on truth," you tell him. "It stands the test of time."

Ben directs you toward the repair shop where he left his truck. You slow to a stop a block away. "Want a kiss before you go?"

"Are we hiding?" Ben says. "I mean?"

"Hon," you tell him, "Just because you want to live your life in truth doesn't mean that you want everyone in your business."

"Oh." He looks perplexed.

"You got your next dentist appointment?" you ask him. He holds it up. Same day as yours. "Look at that, maybe we'll see each other later."

He leans in for a kiss.

"Happy trails, Ben," you tell him.

"Yeah. Thank you so much, Mary," he says. "I mean, wow."

You laugh. "Mauled by a wild cougar up in the hills."

Ben giggles. "Yeah."

"You get home safe now," you tell him.
