You decide to cut through the park.

Not wanting to be near the strip club any longer than you have to, you start walking in the direction of your home. The street is fairly well lit and the traffic is light as you make your way towards the park.

When you reach the park, you pause, suddenly less sure of yourself. During the day, the park is well lit, well kept, and safe. But at night, the park is dominated by dark and foreboding shadows that any manner of unreputable person could hide.

Steeling your resolve, you enter the park at a brisk pace, intent to be through it as quickly as possible.
