You call a press conference for her

"John, honey, are you sure this is a good idea?" Carrie whispers to you as you walk out on stage with her, having called a press conference on her behalf as soon as you returned to Nashville together.

"Carrie...trust me...we have to stay ahead of the tabloids on this," you tell her, giving her a kiss as you walk on stage with her, "your fans will still love you after this is all done, I promise you. They should know that no one's perfect."

"Good afternoon everyone," Carrie begins as she faces the press in a light pink shirt and a pair of tight blue jeans, her head still buzzing with all the twists and turns her life has taken in the past month, "I am here to inform everyone here and all of my fans everywhere of the fact that I am pregnant."

"Go on," you mouth to her, trying to give her the strength to go on as she looks over to you and shakes her head no, "...and while I'm sure that many of you are thrilled to hear this news, the reason that I have called this press conference is to inform everyone that I have also cheated on my husband."

"The baby...the...baby...isn't his..." she stammers over the murmurs of the crowd, her husband storming out of the room as you hold her in your arms and continue for her.

"My name is John Doe, and I am Ms. Underwood's new Hollywood business manager," you begin as every head in the room focuses on you, "and, as so many of you are probably wondering right now, I am also the father of her baby. Please, no questions."

"Let's get out of here baby, I can't handle this anymore," she whispers in your ear as you abruptly end the press conference, promising to issue more press releases on the situation soon.

"MMM...let's go back to your place...I need to be alone with my thoughts...and you...right now..." she moans in your ear as you steal a kiss from her in the car, neither of you sure where to go from here, but sure that you're going to be doing it together.
